Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Built on a hillside on the east bank of the River Dart, this home treats guests to some postcard-perfect views of Waterhead Creek and the naval town of Dartmouth. The big question, however, is where you choose to take in this lovely vista. From the terrace while cooking up dinner on the barbecue? With a glass in your hand from the bedroom's balcony? Out through the living room's floor-to-ceiling windows? As you can probably gather, this is an address in which relaxation is the top priority and this is reflected in the design too, with a colour palette of soothing greys and plenty of Scandi-esque furnishings. We're also big fans of the modern kitchen, dominated by clean lines and sleek surfaces, as well as the equally contemporary bathrooms. When it comes to seeing a little more of the local area, the terminal from which you can take a ferry over to Dartmouth is only ten minutes' walk from the home and there are plenty of attractions in the town to make it worth the journey, including a castle and plenty of restaurants. If you stay on this side of the Dart, however, you can drive up to Greenway – a National Trust estate that was once the home of Agatha Christie – in just over a quarter of an hour.
