The bustling harbour is a wonderful place to relax and watch the boats go by, and is home to a range of restaurants including one belonging to the world renowned artist Damien Hirst which serves freshly caught fish.

Further afield are some lovely cliff top walks along the North Devon coastline with its large sandy beaches and sheltered coves. There are many historic places to visit such as the National Trust Arlington Court, or take a drive onto Exmoor National Park for some fantastic walks and rugged scenery.
