Take your dogs and enjoy the crackle of twigs beneath your feet with picture postcard walking routes on your doorstep, or take the short 7 mile drive to Sidmouth where you will surely be in for a treat. Perched on the Jurassic coast, Sidmouth itself offers a beautiful sandy beach and is a great place to relax and go rock pooling. Walk along the beachside esplanade and visit the fine array of local shops and eateries where you are sure to find something for all tastes. If you fancy a change of scenery the popular beaches of Beer, Exmouth and Lyme Regis with its fossil hunting are all within 19 miles of the lodge. Other Local attractions include Crealy Great Adventure Park (10 miles), Bicton Gardens (11 miles) The Donkey Sanctuary (9.5 miles) Wildwood Escot wihin a couple of miles. Step inside this beautifully furnished lodge into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with comfy seating why not turn on the electric flame effect fire and curl up in front of the Smart TV and watch your favourite film after a busy day exploring. The kitchen area is well equipped to whip up any culinary delights you can think of with an electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer along with a dining table to seat four. Heading further into the property you will find the two bedrooms; a light and airy double and a pretty twin. Completing the accommodation is the family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Heading outside onto the large wrap around balcony with garden furniture, this is the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine on a warm summers evening, simply relax and you may even see a deer or two. Keep the little ones entertained in the enclosed garden with the wooden playhouse and watch the Shetland ponies grazing in the field. The enclosed garden will keep your dogs safe. Guests are welcome to walk the surrounding secluded fields and woods that lead down to the River Otter. There is ample parking for two cars.
