With great transport links nearby you will also be less than half an hour away from the cathedral city of Exeter with a wide range of amenities, including restaurants, shops and bars, and also within easy drive of popular tourist destinations of the south coast and the unspoilt villages along the northern coastline. Other attractions within easy reach include Okehampton Castle, the Miniature Pony Centre, South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the historic naval city of Plymouth, numerous National Trust properties including nearby Castle Drogo.
