Quarterdeck is a lovely bungalow with fantastic views.. Large garden. Peaceful, Spotlessly clean, although I did have to wash a couple of windows down to see the lovely view properly. We must have caught it wrong for the window cleaner.
It’s a beautiful area and the bungalow had most things that we needed. The utility room was really good to put coats and dog food etc.
Surprisingly, there is only one toilet, which is separate from the bathroom, with no hand basin so we feel that it would be very difficult for 5 people staying there. The shower is in the bath so not easy for older people to climb in and out.
We have been to many Sykes cottages and we do feel, although a nice place with spectacular views, that at nearly £900 (and considering my comments) that it was expensive for the first week in May. Two other bungalows a bit nearer to the beach were £200 cheaper that week.
The WiFi is almost non existent . , not the owners fault but I thought I ought to mention it.
The lanes are very steep for anyone with mobility issues.
