Peek A Boo is a detached cottage situated on Lakeview Rise resort, some four miles from the market town of Hatherleigh in mid Devon. All on ground floor, this accommodation boasts a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, sleeping two guests. The interior also comprises an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside you have off-road parking for one car and an enclosed decking area with furniture. Peek A Boo offers a lovely getaway for that much-awaited holiday in Devon. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Please Note: The pool is available for the peak season only and will be closed from 30th September through to 1st April. Please note: Unfortunately the pool is currently unavailable for use, please enquire ahead of booking.

Area
Hatherleigh is a market town situated in the heart of rural Devon. Being just seven miles from the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, with easy access to the coast to coast long distance trail, this town boasts the ideal location. There is a selection of craft shops, country inns and cafes, while Okehampton Castle, the RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington, and the surfing beaches around Bude are within easy reach.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Washing machine and tumble dryer is available on site. Note: Due to the covid19 pandemic the children's play area and the laundry room is unavailable until further notice. Well cute cottage, very cozy. The Lake is amazing and wildlife is magical. Very relaxing, can’t wait to go back!

The Chalet is not detached as noted it is, it is adjoined by another chalet as you can see at the side of the picture, but it is cosy and clean, on a sad note for the owners it overlooks a large detached derelict building which looks like it is semi detached and has an upstairs so is quite high, there is also another Chalet to the side of it so infact there is no view apart from these buildings which is fine if you like to holiday in a built up area, on a positive note there is a lovely fishing lake where you can take the dog for a walk around and whilst we didn't use the pool it did look clean, there is a good play area if you are visiting with family, the Chalet has everything you need for a break away and is only 30 mins approx drive from Bude and its lovely beaches and also Widemouth for surfers but can take the dog on one area of the beach, Bude beach seemed fine with dogs or at least no one said anything and there were other people with dogs to, Clovelly Village is very near and well worth the visit, so the Chalet has lovely places to visit nearby, there are a couple of pubs near the chalet approx 1 mile? but we didn't use these, also there is an Archery centre opposite Lake Rise which also has shooting and is excellent! Peek a Boo is really an apt name for the lack of a view but it does make up for that with the Chalet being so sweet and it is a safe area and it does benefit from a fenced in decked seating area with plants, would i visit again? Um? but if you love fishing, have children and a safe enviroment with no view it would be nice
