Outside there is off-road parking available, a covered decking with furniture and a gravelled area with fire pit, barbecue and picnic bench with views over the valley. Within 1.6 miles there is a shop and 2.1 mile a pub. Short drive to Dartmouth Golf & Country Club. Sorry, no smoking. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Just a short drive from Dartmouth and the beautiful Start Bay beaches, this spot strikes a nice balance between isolation and accessibility, thanks to its proximity to numerous scenic hiking trails, friendly neighbourhood watering holes, and more. The 14th-century Parish Church of St. Michael on Main Street in the heart of the village is an integral part of the scene. The George Inn, located in the centre of the village, is a family-run pub. Located across from the church, this dog-friendly inn provides easy access to the stunning natural surroundings of the South Hams from its outdoor seating areas. Approximately halfway between the bustling market town of Kingsbridge and the trendy town of Totnes is the quaint village of Halwell, nestled in wooded farmland. A picturesque Devon town, with a lively main street and a regular market, the region is known for its weekly outdoor markets on Fridays and Saturdays. The main season, which runs from May to September, features a weekly Elizabethan market on Tuesday mornings.
