The patio and lawn outside are for the private use of the cottage only and enclosed, with stunning far-reaching to Dartmoor in the distance. There is also off road parking for two cars. In a lovely base for walking, cycling and exploring this fantastic corner of Devon, Owl Barn is perfect for families and larger groups as it can be booked with the property next door.

Area Tavistock is an award-winning, market town resting on the south-west slopes of Dartmoor. Here, you will find an indoor market, a range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema. Close by is the port city of Plymouth with its Barbican Quay and the Historic Royal William Yard. Moreover, the surfing beaches of Devon and North Cornwall are all within an hour’s drive.
Region Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Good property very clean and tidy .. Very bad access (unmade road on property)
Could have done with some cleaning materials etc so that we could have left it even cleaner

This barn was perfect for our needs, the main bathroom having a wet area suitable for my elderly mother in law’s impaired mobility.. It was warm cosy and very comfortable and the owner was very friendly.
Really couldn’t fault the barn which had fantastic views and would certainly stay there again.
