Nestled in the south Devon countryside, surrounded by rivers, woodland and three acres of lush green gardens, this classic cottage is the perfect cosy retreat in Newton Abbot. Boasting a fully-equipped contemporary kitchen, begin the day by cooking a hearty breakfast for the whole family before heading out to explore. Ideally located for both coastal and rural adventures, you needn't pick one or the other here. Bustling seaside towns like Torbay are within easy distance, as well as Dartmoor National Park. Explore beautiful sandy beaches or vast moorland defined by forests and rivers – jump in the car and see where you end up. Newton Abbot itself plays host to some traditional local markets which are well worth a visit – pick up some locally made and homegrown foods to take home for dinner. Speaking of which, the garden comes complete with a barbecue and dining set, meaning you can rustle up alfresco feasts in no time. After dinner, head indoors to get cosy with a glass of wine by the wood burner.
