Area Combe Martin is located at the intersection of the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In addition to its own Dinosaur Park, this little seaside resort boasts all the required services for both locals and tourists alike. In May, the town of Combe Martin hosts the famous Earl of Rone Festival, and in August, it hosts a carnival. From here, you can easily visit nearby attractions such as Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, and Ilfracombe and Barnstaple, which are all within easy driving distance. Numerous National Trust properties and gardens can also be explored. Woolacombe offers some of the best surfing in the South West, and the South West Coastal Path runs beside it for a mile. Combe Martin is a wonderful starting point for a beach vacation, with much to do for the whole family.
Region Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
