This was the second time we have visited and it is a lovely location with wonderful views .. It was only marred by the cleanliness of some of the kitchen items which had been left dirty by a previous occupant a time ago! People should be aware of the steep steps to and within the property as some might find it difficult with a case.

Cottage good in respect of location, quality of furniture, comfort of bed, overall condition and cleanliness.. Had the following concerns. 1/ No Council sack provided and could not find black rubbish bags required by Council. 2/ Rust inside microwave and poor state of cutlery. 3/ No continuous hand rail on stairs. 4/ Oven appears to be electric only, not gas as stated. 5/ More maintenance required, for example I removed leaves and silt from the kitchen drain to stop it overflowing.

We had a lovely week at the Blue Horizon.. The views were amazing and the cottage had everything we needed. There are several steps leading up to the property which was fine with us but probably not if you have mobility difficulties. We would definitely like to stay again.

We loved the location with the dual aspect bedroom windows and we enjoyed using the balcony for our breakfasts.. Brixham is a good base for touring the area. There are just two negatives that I think would be useful feedback - there was no welcome pack and if that had been explained we would have prepared for it. Also we think blackout curtains would be helpful as the bedroom was too light in the early mornings. We would highly recommend Blue Horizon.

This is one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in.. The pictures do not do the property justice. The views are stunning, the property was extremely clean and the specification was as listed. The comfort of the beds was outstanding and every aspect apears to be thought of (shoehorne, torch, hairdryer, games...I could go on).Yes if you have mobility issues it may not be the place for you because of the stairs but this is Brixham and it's par for the course. My family of 4, including 2 teenagers loved it and we're missing it already!

Our family really enjoyed the holiday.. The cottage had some great views over the harbour and the location was good. The steps leading up to the cottage may not be suitable for those with mobility problems, but for our family there was no issue. Brixham is lovely and we would return. The good weather was a bonus!

Lovely cottage, excellent location overlooking the harbour with superb views.. Very comfortable facilities and beds! Stairs may be a problem for people with mobility issues.Parking was also a problem having to reverse down a very narrow lane. However we did find somewhere to park in the roads nearby. Some problems with the electrics but these were sorted by the owner. Not sure where the garden was=just a tiny patio! Some people may not appreciate all the steps up to the property but not a problem for us. Would recommend this cottage for its character ,location and beautiful views=always something going on in the harbour!
