A fabulous new property which is accurately represented by the photos.. A very well stocked kitchen with all the equipment you could possibly need. We stayed in early April, so the weather wasn't warm enough to take much advantage of the outdoor dining area or roof terrace, but I'm sure both would be great in summer. A great location for walks along the coastal path and some stunning views. The settlement is quite remote and approached along some steep and winding country lanes and it's some distance to a large supermarket - although there is a NISA very nearby and at least one supermarket chain delivers. Overall can highly recommend the property

Overall 5 Beachdown was an excellent holiday rental for our family.. However the first impressions of the site was not great. Your email sent 4 / 05 / 18 indicated that there was maintenance work progressing on site, when in fact there is construction of two additional properties in progress. This did not worry us other than the entrance and road is a bit rough. On reaching the property, again the first impressions were a little disappointing in that there are a number of weeds on the drive / parking area that really should be attended too and the front entrance needs a clean up. Internally the property was excellent and very well equipped, however the stair carpet could use a good clean as it was badly marked where I guess previous renters have spilled drinks carried down to the bedrooms and also the bathroom towels are a bit on the small side for anyone who has a large area to dry, but this is being picky. The location is great, the local shop well stocked and the beach lived up to expectation.

We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 dogs the first week of October and wow what a beautiful house it is. Everything you can think of has been included to make to stay luxurious but easy at the same time. We were welcomed by tea bags, sugar, coffee, milk, prosecco and cake (all essentials in our opinion!). The house was spotlessly clean and ultra modern with the most amazing views over the surrounding land with a little glimmer of the sea. The only let down is the VERY rural access to the village, which does take some getting used too. The house is situated less than a 5 minute walk from a breath taking beach that is dog friendly (October - May), it is surrounded by some lovely coastal walks as well as a chip shop, pub and local shop. We had a lovely relaxing break away here and enjoyed visiting Dartmouth prison museum, the Golden Hind Ship and the Stream River round robin. A meal at the Pickwick Inn is a must if you're staying here.

Location is near the beach the house is amazing and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The patio and the upstairs decking are lovely outdoor spaces and we found although there were eight of us, we had our own space.

It was the most well equipped rental I have ever been in. It was extremely clean and well cared for. Lots of lovely walks to try and beach a 2 minute walk. The country lanes to get to the house are interesting. We would definitely stay again.
