The village of Appledore has a tempting range of restaurants, pubs and shops to choose from. During the summer take the foot ferry to Instow, where there is a sandy beach and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. A larger beach with its pebble ridge at Westward Ho! is just a short drive away or you may prefer to walk along the coast path to get there. Visit nearby Bideford where you will find a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. For a fun day out for the little ones visit the Big Sheep or the Milky Way. Upon entering the two storey property via a few stone steps you will find yourself in the hallway with handy a cupboard for putting away your coats and boots after a day out walking. From here you can walk through to the lounge where you can relax and soak up the incredible views over Appledore or watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV snuggling up in front of the flame effect electric fire. The room next door is a small snug area with Smart TV, electric fire and French doors leading to the garden, it is the perfect space to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with a good book. The kitchen/diner is well equipped for preparing a meal with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. From here (or the snug) you can head out to the patio area with outdoor dining set. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find three bedrooms; a super king size and one double, both with estuary views followed by one twin with garden views and an en suite shower room with WC. Completing the first floor is the family bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Outside, to the rear of the property is a beautiful enclosed garden, rare for Appledore. There are four separate patio areas to enjoy with the top one having an estuary view and a charcoal BBQ. Mature plants surround the dining and seating areas making it the perfect place to relax. An external side gate also makes it convenient to access the garden to avoid sandy paws through the house! From the garden, there are gated external steps leading up to the games room/garage with table football and magnetic dart board plus a handy utility area with tumble dryer. 50 meters from the property is a large open green space perfect for walking your four legged friends. A private parking space is accessed via the private lane behind the property and additional roadside parking (subject to availability) can be found nearby.
