Venture into the town and you will find a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants, and two miles of beautiful golden sandy beach, perfect for those who enjoy the sun and surf, and from here you can also enjoy some spectacular cliff top walks on the South West Coast Path.

There is also direct access to the Royal North Devon Golf Club where guests can enjoy free social memberships during their stay, which includes use of the bar and restaurant (golf is extra, but at a reduced rate at certain times). Also nearby, the pretty town of Bideford boasts an array of independent shops and from here you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg.
