This beautiful seaside cottage is perfectly located within the quaint and colourful fishing village of Appledore with it's pubs, restaurants, galleries and cafes all within walking distance. Fancy an extended walk? Then join the South West Coast Path, accessible from right outside your door. However, if you want to stay within the realms of the village then you can tuck into some delicious pub grub as little as 300 metres down the road. Across the estuary is the neighbouring beachside village of Instow, a dog walking haven that is a 6 mile drive or a short ferry ride away. The shoreline in Appledore, with its rock pools and sandy stretches are just a stroll away from the cottage. Family attractions like The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor are all within easy reach. Inside the cottage, the soft pastel marine tones create a beach hut feel and serve as a real reminder that you are staying at the seaside. The large, original windows at the front of the property draw in plenty of natural light, giving the whole house a bright and airy ambience. A contemporary and well equipped kitchen joins onto the dining room offering more than enough space to cook and even more to serve up dinner with all the family. This lovely cottage is spread over three floors and offers three good sized bedrooms for six people. Cottage style steep stairs lead you to the first floor where there is a king size bedroom with both sea and estuary views; there is also a twin bedroom on this floor. On the second floor, there is one double bedroom again with magnificent sea and estuary views, as well as an en suite shower and WC. A family bathroom can be found on the first floor, with shower over bath and WC. There is also a WC on the ground floor in the utility room, where there is a washer/dryer and a sink. The lounge offers a cosy wood burner, with the first basket of logs included, comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and DVD player. Outside the kitchen bi folding doors you will find a sunny south facing courtyard with an outdoor shower tap for mucky dogs or sandy toes and a seating area and BBQ. Bicycles, kayaks and surfboards can also be stored in the courtyard.
