Westward Ho! is a delightful and friendly Victorian coastal resort offering a wide range of attractions, including a beautiful beach, the Royal North Devon Golf Club, the North Devon Surf School, tennis courts, National Trust cliff top walks and Northam Burrows Country Park. The charming market town of Bideford is two miles away and boasts a selection of shops and a pannier market. You could take a day trip to Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg, walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail, or enjoy visits to Tapeley Park and Gardens, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, RHS Rosemoor Gardens or simply enjoy the gorgeous local beaches and countryside. On entering this charming single level cottage you will find yourself in the attractive lounge/kitchen/diner. The welcoming lounge is perfect for relaxing in front of the TV/DVD, and the dining area is ideally situated whether you re grabbing a quick snack or sitting down to a special meal. Heading over to the elegant kitchen you will find everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Exploring further, you will find three comfy bedrooms: a cosy double, a comfortable twin, and a handy bunk bedroom. There is also a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC. Stepping outside you can relax in the private enclosed garden area directly outside of the cottage or choose to enjoy the shared BBQ area with picnic tables and garden chairs. The cottage is part of a complex of properties which share the outdoor 40ft swimming pool with seating, which is heated through the main summer months (open from the last May Bank Holiday week until the 1st September only). There is also a communal children s play area, with swings, slides, football goal posts and swing ball set. (bats and football provided). Car parking space is allocated, and secure storage is available for bikes and surfboards etc. There is also a shared utility room with coin operated commercial washing machines and tumble dryer. Surrounding the complex are 15 acres of working farmland with access to public footpaths where you can walk the dog (on lead due to cattle) or just simply admire the stunning countryside and coastline.
