Only 2.5 miles away is the seaside village of Westward Ho!, one of the area's most popular tourists spots. In the summer you have the choice of shops, surf hire, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. It boasts amusement arcades and is most popular for its surfing, with a large expanse of sandy beach and surf school it s the perfect place to take a picnic and spend the day building sandcastles or catching a wave. Nearby, you can take a bike ride on the Tarka Trail which has 180 miles of off road cycling, perfect for admiring the North Devon countryside. More local attractions for families are available such as The Milky Way Adventure Park, North Devon Wake and Aqua Park, and the Big Sheep adventure park. This well equipped apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner enjoys a southerly aspect towards the estuary and rolling countryside.
