The village is surrounded by farmland and woodland with plenty of footpaths for walks in the village and nestles within the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The market town of Chard in Somerset is a short drive from the property and other attractions nearby include Forde Abbey, Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre and Axe Valley Bird and Animal Park. Chardstock also has an annual street fair and tractor trundle. Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast are just a short drive away, a great day out for keen fossil hunters and beach lovers. Heading into the property you will find yourself in the bright and airy open plan living area. The lounge has a TV and a large corner sofa, ideal for relaxing after a day out exploring. There is ample space around the dining table to enjoy leisurely meals and the kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge with ice compartment. From the kitchen, French doors open out onto the small enclosed decked area. Upstairs there is a pretty bedroom with a king size bed and TV. Completing the accommodation upstairs, there is also a spacious, contemporary shower room with sink and WC. Moving outside to the small enclosed decked area, there is a table and chairs, an ideal spot for al fresco drinks and dining, as well as a disposable BBQ stand.
