Hosts Phil and Sue Bradbury were extremely helpful to us when we arrived quite late due to heavy traffic on the motorways(M5&M42).. Nothing was too much trouble!Would like to go back as soon as possible.

The accommodation was very comfortable, and if the kitchen lacked anything we needed it was immediately supplied.. Lovely location ideally situated for visiting many interesting places ,too many to list; but never the less there are many more places that we were unable to go to.So we diffenantly need to return sometime in the future.

Excellent location.. Friendly welcome. Well equipped and comfortable property. Would benefit from WiFi for searching for information on places to visit etc. as mobile signal variable. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits on arrival a welcome surprise. Would love to return sometime for another visit.

A lovely, comfortable and well equipped property.. On the main road from Buxton to Ashbourne but road noise not a problem. You can walk out from the property, ( a short distance on the road at first) onto the Tissington and High Peak Trails, but you really need a car to access the many interesting trails and places around as there is no public transport nearby.

What a lovely cottage.. It has everything you could want, including tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dish washer tabs, soap etc which some cottages dont supply. It was quiet and comfortable and a great location to explore the Peaks. The only slight issue was there's no doors to the bedrooms, so if you have a snorer in your party everyone can hear

February 2019
A very well equipped, clean cottage, in a good location to explore the peak district.. Very friendly owners and we very much appreciated the milk/coffee/biscuits provided on arrival. We enjoyed the weekend there, in particular the walk/cycling along the Tissington/High peak trails. We will come back again for sure. Anything not so perfect? If I were really picky, I would say the toilet could be separated from the bath room/or having another toilet, and may be not on the main road.

February 2019
The cottage was really homey, warm and well laid out.. It fulfilled our needs perfectly and had everything that we wanted. The pictures online did not do it justice, it’s absolutely beautiful and very unique! The only thing I could fault was the water pressure in the shower. It was ok but not brilliant.

Such a beautiful little cottage in a picturesque location.. The owners were lovely, so helpful and had left basic essentials in the cottage which was helpful and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend or visit again.

November 2018
The cottage was lovely and very well equipped.. Our only feedback is that the sofas are a little small for 4 people to relax comfortably - perhaps an arm chair in the lounge could be helpful.
Mr Allen
November 2018
The photos do not do the place justice, yes it is in the middle of no where, well it feels that way even though your off the main a road between Buxton and Ashbourne.. Once you close the curtains its soo cozy. We could have stayed for longer

Mr Chown
August 2018
Property is ideally located for many attractions which are within easy reach and despite being located close to the main road, traffic noise was minimal.. The property is well appointed and spacious and includes a garden area with a rotary drier to the rear. The lack of WiFi and/or phone signal, depending on your provider, might put some people off but we enjoyed being away from the phone.
