For a family day out, Alton Towers, Matlock Farm Park, Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton, all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants.
