There are even some cinema and concert events held within the caves throughout the year including the famous Christmas carol concerts. Eyam is 6 miles away but despite its morbid but fascinating plague history, it is a very pretty Derbyshire Village to explore. The spa town of Buxton, the market town of Bakewell, and the stunning Chatsworth House and Gardens are all within 10 miles. The property is accessed via patio doors from the parking area at the rear, into a cosy sitting room with wood burner offering the perfect place to snuggle up at night time and relax on the reclining sofa and armchair after a day of exploring.
