The area, along with Matlock Bath has been attracting walkers, cyclists and tourists for a number of years and is known for its magnificent views of the of the rolling hills. Matlock is conveniently located in the wooded gorge at the River Derwent and boasts a number of characterful shops, pubs and restaurants. Attractions include the Peak District Mining Museum and Gulliver’s Kingdom, while nature lovers will enjoy the water gardens and Owl Maze at the Heights of Abraham.
