Warm, well equipped comfortable home.. We had a fantastic family weekend to celebrate a birthday. The stairs are very steep and the parking is on road so dependant on getting there first but there is alternative parking very close by. A super location for exploring the peaks.

Our stay was very enjoyable but there were a couple of things which would have made it even better.. The outside spaces need tidying up and the shower on the top floor needs attention because it can't be adjusted as necessary. Our first impression of the kitchen was disappointing because there is some damage to the unit as you walk in, although this doesn't interfere with the practical use of the kitchen.
During our stay we noticed that the gas bottles needed replacing so we phoned the owner, who was grateful that we had checked this, and the next day the gas bottles were replaced.
The beds were very comfortable and the bath towels were lovely, but it would have been good to have had hand towels as well.
We would add that for what we paid for our week, this house is very good value.
