We spent a month in the Ivy Barn as we were between houses and it was absolutely perfect.. Home from home, perfect peace and relaxation and walks from the door. Balm for the soul indeed! It was compact, but had everything we needed, a wonderfully comfortable bed and lovely shower. The owners Simon and Julie were great too, friendly and helpful yet not intrusive.

Excellent location about 300 metres from Carsington Water.. Character-full cottage with a pleasing mix of older features and stylish modern kitchen and bathroom. Very çlean but pet friendly. Lots of local walks and things to do.

The barn has been beautifully renovated.. A very comfortable and lovely living space, in a stunning location. Lovely and warm, we had snow for one of our days. Easy to access, and very private. Great to have the option to use a washing machine and tumble drier. So much to do in the area that we ran out of time. Lovely to be able to do walks directly from the house. Lots of places to eat and drink in the local area. We also like to cook where we stay and perhaps would have liked a few more kitchen utensils. This is not a complaint, just an observation. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay.
