  • "We had a lovely stay with our family at the River Cottage."

From the moment we arrived, we noticed the thoughtful touches, like the complimentary tea & coffee, food for the ducks and the visitor message book. The house itself is beautiful and good for big families with kids. I especially liked the kitchen patio/garden access with the stream running through, very pretty. The cottage is also perfectly located, just a short drive from Winnats Pass and others parts of the Peak District. The host was very friendly and responsive, addressing any questions or concerns we had promptly - thank you. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, it’s the perfect place for a cosy getaway!
