The open-plan living space includes an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, woodburning stove, dining seating and a TV. There is a double mezzanine bedroom serviced by a shower room. There is also a pull-out bed. To the outside is a patio with table and chairs and designated parking for one car. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Smoking is not allowed. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and pub. The Hay Barn is a superb retreat for two.

One mezzanine double bedroom. Ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Sofa bed. Open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove.

Area
The Derbyshire Peak District includes the little town of New Mills, which is located on the boundary between North West Derbyshire and Cheshire. Since the 13th century, the Torrs Riverside Park (also known as "the park under the town") has served as a location for recreation and relaxation. In the late 20th century, the New Mills Heritage Centre was established to promote tourism in the region. While Chapel en le Frith, the Capital of the Peaks, with its cobblestone market and historic old stocks, is only 5 miles away, the Torrs Millennium Walkway, a beloved bridge situated deep in the canyon, draws a lot of visitors. The lovely spa town of Buxton, which is easily accessible by car, is well known for its healing spring water as well as for its Pavillion Gardens and magnificent Victorian Opera House, which hosts a variety of shows and draws visitors from all over the world. The Blue John display caves at Castleton and other grand homes, including Chatsworth House and Lyme Hall, are also easily accessible by car. Since there are direct rail connections to Manchester, the Hope Valley, and Sheffield, you could even leave your car at home. a great launching point for Peak District exploration.
