If you are on foot, you have excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Neighbouring Litton offers a perfect excuse for a nice stroll up the hill, through farmland and pastures; you are rewarded with the public house to quench your thirst.
