Welcome to Victoria Cottages in Bakewell, a Grade II listed property, originally a Mill Workers cottage forming part of a row of cottages to house the workers from Victoria Mill (across the road). As such this traditional, yet updated cottage still retains some 18th century charm. Located within short walking distance of the bustling market town of Bakewell, and set within the Peak District National Park, the open countryside is on your doorstep. Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are also close by. The cottage opens from the front door on the main road into a beamed lounge/dining room with a comfortable leather suite and a vintage oak table, complimented by a log effect fire set in an open hearth. The kitchen has a gas hob and oven, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms - one with a luxurious king-sized bed and the other with twin beds. Outside there are terraces with stunning views. Dogs are welcome and off-street parking is available.
