Holiday home
This home has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview and DVD player, and woodburning stove and a communal games room with pool table and table tennis. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is a front patio and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcomed, but no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Tour Derbyshire with Fruitpip as your base. Note: Guests also have access to a shared indoor heated swimming pool, an open field with football nets/badminton, boot room and secure storage in the bike shed. Note: This property can also accommodate stag and hen dos, as well as weddings. Note: Towels for the swimming pool not provided, guests are encouraged to bring their own.

Area
The charming, small market town of Bakewell has managed to preserve its lovely rural ambiance and has a nice assortment of stores, eateries, and bars in addition to regional farmers markets. In the heart of the town, a historic market hall from the 17th century stands alongside a contemporary recreation facility with a pool. The Peak District National Park includes Bakewell, which is ideally situated for visiting this stunning area. Both the craggy Dark Peak and the gentler limestone White Peak are easily accessible, and Britain's top amusement park, Alton Towers, is only a short drive away. A few of the numerous stately homes to visit are Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Hardwick Hall.
