Visited this beautiful unique property with our young family recently and it didn't
disappoint. A lovely garden and large hot tub with great features that the kids loved.
Comfortable beds and sociable living space.
Lots to do in the nearby town of Ashbourne.
Would definitely recommend!

Nice concept and very quaint property , sadly the good bits end here and the poor care and severe lack of maintenance from the owner let it down massively .
1. Damp. the whole apartment is suffering badly from damp inside , this is obvious both from the smell and the mould throughout ( see pictures).
2. Filthy, mould in sugar bowl, lipstick on glasses, stains of the sofa bed, mould on ceiling, dust everywhere, food splashed up walls ( pictures) the kitchen stank of something stale like spilled milk.
3 Poor state of maintenance , electrics kept tripping repeatedly due to either the damp , the damaged sockets that were off the wall or the system that was last tested in 2015 ( see pictures) Nothing was PAT tested.
4 There had been a hen party prior to our stay and there were plastic willies and blown up condoms left in the hot tub which we had to remove after our children had seen them.
5.The owner who lives on site was not prepared to give us a refund for the second night we had booked. he made excuse after excuse for the damp and dirt .claimed the £800 paid for 2 nights was not worth the hassle for him . The owners attitude was dirtier than the sofabed !!!!
There are pages ripped out the visitors book for some strange reason also.
NB this is the first and hopefully the last negative review i have ever had to leave for a horrendous let thats both dangerous and filthy. Please see the pictures for any avoidance of doubt.

Quirky property but sadly it ends there ….extremely dated interiors the lounge furniture was so old and saggy not comfortable to sit on and both bedroom mattresses were absolutely awful could feel all the springs we had to layer all the duvets on top to lie on .. shame because the location is lovely with a hot tub .. but unfortunately that too was damaged so difficult to lift the lid which had been already repaired by drilling nails into a wood plinth … not great
We also arrived to a freezing cold property and due to its size had to go out for several hours to allow it to warm up
Such a shame as it could be so much better with appropriately comfortable sofas in seating areas and a couple of new mattresses or at least Mattress toppers to absorb the springs …….
