A short woodland stroll from the property brings guests to the Grizedale Forest visitor centre, where they will find a playground, café, cycling routes, a Go Ape high ropes centre and info on the forest. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston water, two of the region s best known lakes, are less than eight miles away and give the visitors chance to try their hand at various water sports, or perhaps take a pleasure cruise if they are looking for a more restful experience. Entering the cottage, guests will be able to leave their boots on the porch before entering the spacious hallway, close by is the lounge/diner, with its comfortable seating, dining table, wood burner effect electric fire, TV, DVD, and hi fi. The kitchen is situated to the rear of the property and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge, whilst the washing machine and freezer can be found in a separate utility room, next to which is a convenient ground floor shower room with WC. To the first floor, there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single. The main bathroom is also on the first floor and has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside, the property has wonderfully spacious gardens, mainly set to lawn, with a small patio area, ideal for sitting back with a drink and watching the children play. The garden is fully enclosed.
