A short woodland stroll from the property brings guests to the Grizedale Forest visitor centre, where they will find a playground, café, cycling routes, a Go Ape high ropes centre and info on the forest. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston water, two of the region s best known lakes, are less than eight miles away and give the visitors chance to try their hand at various water sports, or perhaps take a pleasure cruise if they are looking for a more restful experience.
