Catch a car ferry over to Hawkshead, 6 miles away, to explore the literary heritage of the area, before stopping in at Hill Top, Beatrix Potter s carefully preserved home, just 4 miles away. Inside, this single storey property has been finished with tasteful neutral tones and cosy soft furnishings to create a home from home feel throughout.
