Keswick, situated between the huge mass of Skiddaw and the gentle beauty of Derwentwater, is only 15 miles ( a 30 min scenic drive). Keswick offers a range of pubs, restaurants and cafes with a good selection of independent shops to browse. There are also beautiful forest walks in Dodd Wood, 12 miles and Whinlatter Forest, 15 miles, which offers stunning views, fantastic walks, exhilarating mountain biking, rare wildlife and adventure play.
