Area Ulverston is a cobbled-street market town. It has independent shops, cafés, and pubs with open fires and real ales. Fine dining and tavern meals are both available. Ulverston is a festival town, with flags, walking, art, and music festivals in the summer and the Dickensian Christmas festival in late November.
