Once a shoe shop, this home has been converted into an excellent two-story apartment. It’s in the heart of Ulverston so you can easily explore the Lake District and Cumbria. Keen hikers might want to tackle Scafell Pike, which is less than an hour away, and Lake Windermere can be reached in half an hour. The apartment is a fuss-free base, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable break. There’s a petite desk for those needing to work during their stay.
