Greenodd offers everything you need for your getaway if you want to leave the car behind there is access to the well connected public bus service. You also have a local traditional butcher on the same street and a very short stroll around the corner an independent bakers and cafe, fish and chip shop and plus much more. There are excellent walks and cycle routes around the town and beautiful countryside, with views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. The Furness Coast boasts sandy beaches around a 6 mile drive away and a great day out. Just 17.5 miles away is Lake Windermere and 14.5 miles away in Coniston with plenty of water based activities to try. Upon entering this quirky cottage, you will fall in love with the unique layout and homely feel. The lounge offers a great space for the family to enjoy a great night in with a two sofas, an armchair, and Smart TV. In the hall, we have the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC which has been tastefully designed. On the lower ground floor, we have the fantastic kitchen/diner which offers a great space for cooking up a storm and enjoying some family cooking time. There is an island with two bar stools, a gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. There is also a space perfect for reading a book or for the kids to chill while you re making a meal. Up to the first floor, we have a double bedroom and a small double. Then finally onto the second floor, you find the master bedroom with a double bed and an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. The enclosed garden is a gem with a lovely patio area, ideal for a morning coffee or evening glass of wine, plus a lawned area for the kids or dogs to enjoy. There is on street parking (subject to availability).
