The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, electric fire, and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite, and two twins, along with a shower room. Outside there is a wrap-around decked veranda with furniture, a private hot tub for guests to enjoy all year round, and a private driveway for one car. Two well-behaved small dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1 mile, a pub on-site, and Lake Windermere in 0.6 miles. 25 Thirlmere is a wonderful base for a family looking to explore Cumbria. Note: The veranda is not enclosed. Note: There are steps up to the lodge; there are also 3 steps from the parking space to the front of the lodge which have no handrail. Note: Guests have access to a variety of on-site amenities, including a pub/restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, a launderette, and children's play area. Note: Due to lakeside location, children should be supervised. Note: Due to the site's rural location, WiFi signal can be intermittent. Note: At check-in guests will be provided with a barrier pass number to use in the barrier keypad providing vehicular access to the park. Note: Guests wishing to use the on-site leisure facilities will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception; Off peak: £7.95 per adult and £5.95 per child; Peak: £9.95 per adult and £6.95 per child (June, July, August); The pass is for full access to the complex centre, which includes pool, gym and entertainment. A pass is not required for access to the bar and restaurant. The pass is valid for the duration of your stay. Passes for children are for ages 2-17, children 0-2 are free. Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

The little community of Troutbeck Bridge is located in the Lake District National Park, near to the renowned Kirkstone Pass, between the well-known towns of Windermere and Ambleside. This peaceful community, made up of a few Lakeland cottages, has a flourishing and well-liked neighbourhood tavern that serves good meals and real ales. The thriving towns of Windermere and Ambleside, which offer a variety of services like stores, pubs, and cafes, are nearby. Children will appreciate the Beatrix Potter World in neighbouring Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Lake Windermere offers a variety of lakeside activities, including visits to the famed Grizedale Forest Park and the world-famous Aquarium. Troutbeck Bridge is a great place to start exploring the area because it's close to places like Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick, and the Lakeland Mountains.e region has to offer.
