Set out on foot from the property to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the coast, sit and enjoy the coastal scenery or walk through the pretty village of Ravenglass, stopping to admire the views of Muncaster Fell along the way.

Ravenglass, now a UNESCO world heritage site, was once an important Roman port and military fort but is now best known as the starting point for the Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow gauge steam railway. It is also home to two pubs, a hotel, a cafe, a children’s park, a post office and the meeting place of three rivers.
