Enjoy a day out rambling the Wainwrights or cycling in this stunning part of the world. The local area has some great outdoor pursuit centres and stables where you can enjoy a hack or try some water sports. Discover Ullswater, just 5.5 miles away, where you can enjoy a walk along its shores and a visit to the awe inspiring Aira Force Waterfall (12 miles). RSPB Haweswater on the southern banks of beautiful Haweswater Reserviour, is a 12 mile trip away and an idyllic destination for walking and bird spotting. On entering this welcoming, well presented, sandstone cottage, you will find a lovely, cosy lounge with comfortable seating, Smart TV, Sonos music system and DVD, wood burner and a feature beam. The cottage is full of character and has been finished to a high standard throughout with oak flooring, lovely oak ledged doors and shutters. There is a charming, contemporary kitchen with a dining area. There is also a downstairs WC in the hallway. Head up the stairs to the first floor you will find two pretty bedrooms a zip and link super king size (which can be made into a twin on request) and a zip and link twin (which can be made into a super king size on request) both with beamed pitched ceilings. There is a charming, family bathroom along the landing. Spend time relaxing outside in the delightful, enclosed courtyard with seating and enjoy dining alfresco.
