This cottage is located in the tranquil village of Gamblesby, which has a large central village green surrounded by 18th and 19th century red sandstone buildings, and it is just 15 miles from Ullswater.

This is a great base to enjoy a boat trip or visit the waterfalls at Aira Force. The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the heritage site of Hadrian s Wall are both less than 30 miles away.
