Head to the northern side of the lake and visit the spectacular Aira Force Waterfall. Keen bikers will love a visit to Whinlatter (21 miles) where there is an abundance of purpose built cycling trails through the forest. There s a lovely country style pub less than 0.5 miles away serving up some fabulous home cooked food. This delightful property forms the self contained ground floor level of a traditional Lakeland house. Enter through the large doors into the bright and comfortable living and dining area. There is plenty of seating available on the sofa and a TV with freeview and a DVD player, ideal for evenings in. Tuck into home cooked meals at the dining table which seats all four guests. Head through to the small galley kitchen that is well equipped for your self catering stay including an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher. A light and bright master double bedroom has stunning views from the window and an en suite with shower and WC. The twin bedroom has a door leading to the terrace and garden and a family bathroom with a bath and shower tap fitting completes the interior of the property. To the front of the property is a private driveway which has room for three cars. Outside the back of the cottage is a magnificent, mature garden with amazing views over the Lakeland fells and mountains. The garden has a spacious lawned area and a sheltered terrace space with pretty garden furniture. Pour a glass of wine and enjoy watching the sunset behind the mountains beyond.
