The shore of Coniston Water is just half a mile from the apartment, where you can take part in a range of water sports including kayaking, canoeing and sailing, or take a cruise across the lake by steamer. Heading east, the village of Hawkshead (4.5 miles) is at the head of Esthwaite Water and is known for its links with the author Beatrix Potter. Windermere is just 3 miles further on. Entering the property, the ground floor reception area is shared by the two apartments and features shared laundry facilities including a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
