Bathroom- no ventilation WI Fi- very poor. However the apartment was lovely and hotel services on hand, where the wi fi was better.

Completely self contained, the apartment is furnished in a modern style with traditional overtones and comes complete with its own private terrace which affords stunning views over the house gardens and lake beyond.
This ground floor apartment is entered through its own front door which leads into a large lounge furnished in a traditional style, with a comfy two seater sofa and separate dining area with seating for two.

Dale Head Hall sits on the shores of Thirlmere lake which was once two lakes before it was dammed in 1889.
Thirlmere offers a range of boating activities but is most famous for its hiking trails.
One of the most picturesque of these trails is the hike from Thirlmere to Blea Tarn which takes in the beautiful Dob Gill Force waterfall.
The hotel also sits at the foot of the Lake Districts most famous mountain Helvellyn, which rises majestically from the lake's shore.
Thirlmere provides the perfect location to explore the central Lake District.
The bustling market town of Keswick is just a 5 mins drive away, stunning Derwentwater is also nearby and offers a range of boating and sailing activities for you to enjoy.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
