  • "Hi.we have booked 4 different lodges at Burnside over the years and they are all really nice, well equipped, comfy and lovely views."

Robins Nest was fine in general, only a couple of tiny gripes such as a low powered shower, loose connection on holder which kept falling forward and no shelf to put your shower gel etc.. on,we used the surface above the unit but bottles kept slipping off so this needs sorting, also the bathroom cabinet above the sink which only held a first aid kit and bottle of sanitiser needs replacing with just a mirror on the wall as everytime i leant forward to rinse my mouth after cleaning my teeth my head banged on the cabinet!! overall the lodge was comfy, warm and enjoyable if a tad cramped but it does state it only sleeps 2 thats not a problem.

  • "A lovely lodge, well equiped with everything you need for a self catering holiday."

The outside bins were overflowing with rubbish when we arrived on Saturday and not emptied until Wednesday. Rubbish in black bags was being placed in the bin are on the floor. The area smelled. The lodge is in a lovely quiet location just outside Keswick. It's an easy walk into the town or to Derwentwater.

  • "Lovely lodge with everything you could need."

Location very handy for Keswick. Only negative I found the pine wooden panelling on walls and ceiling made everywhere dark. Could do with a refresh or maybe painting, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.
