Three bedrooms: 1x King size, 1x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen diner. Electric storage heating and panel heaters. Sitting room with multi-fuel stove (logs and coal not provided but available locally). Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, IPlayer and Blu-ray player, Wi-Fi. Electricity incl in rent. Bed linen provided. Sorry, towels are not provided at this cottage.

Area
Between the magnificent northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, lies the village of Braithwaite. Still retaining much of its traditional appeal, the Coledale Beck runs through the village with whitewashed Lakeland cottages, two village shops and two real ale Inns each brimming with character! Between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw, there really is something for everyone. Visit Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the lake with an open-air theatre, or take a trip around the lake. Lake District Wildlife Park, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick with its wide range of attractions, are also within easy reach.
