Walkers will be in their element as they can head 3 miles away to Braithwaite and embark on the Coledale Horseshoe, a 9.5 mile loop that winds its way over the Wainwright Fells or head to the Helvellyn mountain range one of the most popular and iconic in Cumbria. Keswick also has a number of art galleries and museums to peruse and, if you fancy a night out, there are numerous great pubs and restaurants close by. The property itself is tucked in a quiet residential street just a short walk from the town centre. Stepping inside you ll find welcoming interiors. At the front of the house there s a charming dining room complete with table and chairs for four to enjoy a meal. This room is also home to a brimming bookcase and a comfortable chair if you want ten minutes to yourself for a quiet read. There is a well equipped galley style kitchen with everything you could need, including ample worktop space, to prepare meals like you would at home. It includes a handy breakfast bar with three stools on which to perch with your morning coffee ideal if the chef of the group wants a little bit of company! To the rear of the house, you ll find an inviting and cosy lounge. With some lovely finishing touches, as well as a gas fire within a gorgeous feature fireplace, this is the perfect spot to unwind in the evening after a day out in the Lakes. There are two comfortable sofas, along with a TV, so you can all relax together in front of a film. Completing the ground floor, there is a large utility space housing the laundry appliances and cleaning equipment it s an ideal place to store coats, shoes and outdoor gear, with space for multiple bikes. Heading upstairs, you ll find two beautifully finished bedrooms one king size and one double, both of which are decorated in calming tones and with lovely little finishing touches which are designed to make you feel right at home. There is plenty of storage in both rooms and a shower room at the end of the landing. Should you need a bit of quiet space in which to work or read, there is also a characterful snug on this floor, complete with desk, chair and armchair so you can tuck yourself away for a little while. Leading off from the snug, you ll also find an attractive second bathroom with a shower over the bath so you can choose between a relaxing soak or a quick rinse. Outside, there is a pretty enclosed garden with seating a lovely spot for an afternoon coffee where you can plan tomorrow s adventures .
