With mountain views from every room, you're spoilt for choice for where your next walk will be! Maiden Moor overlooks the garden, and just a short walk away is Castle Crag, which makes up part of the Jaws of Borrowdale.

If a flatter walk is more your thing, just 1 mile south of you is Bowder Stone, an incredible balanced stone which is a sight to behold, or over the duck boards from Manesty, along the lake edge. There are lots of lovely walks from the doorstep and the area is rich in birdlife.
