Stop off at Lodore (3.5 miles) to see the waterfall, Climb Catbells from Hawse End (4 miles) or head to Surprise View from Ashness Bridge. Find plenty of places to dine out in Keswick so you can enjoy dining out before an evening at the movies (less than half a mile) or at the Theatre by the Lake (1 mile). If you re dining in, visit the twice weekly market and stock up on local goods. Steeped in history, climb the communal stairs to the second floor and head inside. Settle down for a moment in the lounge/diner where you can switch on the TV or enjoy the views in peace. Pop on your favourite programme for a snug night in after dining at the table by the window where you can gaze out over Skiddaw and other fells. When it comes to cooking, the kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge with icebox, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
