Local activities include rock climbing, hiking, and ghyll scrambling. At Whinlatter Forest Park (4.5 miles) you can hire mountain bikes and go exploring, or you can take a cruise from Keswick across Derwentwater, with stops at Ashness Gate, Lodore and Hawes End. Walkers can attempt Latrigg, Catbells, Skiddaw or Causey Pike (all within 6 miles). Entering the property via a private entrance hall, stairs lead you up to the first floor where you will find the spacious and welcoming lounge/diner. This is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a fabulous day: the lounge features comfortable seating, an electric fire, Smart TV, DVD, CD and Bluetooth speaker. The dining area is ideal for sharing a favourite family meal which you can enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. This bright and friendly room features an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and a handy breakfast bar. The washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer can be found in the nearby utility room. The first floor also has the main family bathroom, with a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Heading up to the second floor via a steep staircase you will find three light and tastefully decorated bedrooms. The first bedroom features a double bed and plenty of storage space; there s also a charming single room and a pretty twin room which has an en suite shower room complete with a shower and a WC. Please note the shower room can also be accessed via the landing. Stepping outside, the private courtyard to the front of the house makes a delightful sport for a coffee in the morning as you plan the day. You will also have access to a shared drying area at the end of the terrace. There s an allocated parking space to the back of the property, with further on street parking available along Stanger Street.
