Well, what can I say. The lodge was lovely. Modern furnishings, well equipped, spacious and very clean. We loved the outside sofa and dining sets and were lucky to have such fab weather to make good use of them. There was also ample room to park two cars. As with previous reviews, because of the steps up to the accomodation might be a little difficult for people with mobility problems. The one niggle I had was that the bath towels were very small and might be worrth while cobsidering bigger when replacing. The site itself is really nice. Well maintained with a large restaurant/bar area and entertainment of an evening. We didn't use the pool or gym but both looked good. It's an easy walk to Brockhole, with all it's outdoor activities and it's lovely restaurant. Also, it's an easy drive to both Ambleside and Windermere. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return.

Lovely Lodge.. Lots of space and well set up. Although on a largish complex, the position of the lodge is good being at the end of the road with nothing behind it, or on one side. We were lucky to find it as a last minute cancellation, and the lady at Lakes Cottages was really helpful.

Nicely set up Lodge.. Everything you need. Luxury. Maybe the mattresses could be renewed, but that's all! Will book again, definitely.

I was not expecting leisure facilities and access to a marina - so next time we come I will bring my windsurfer.. The location and facilities are excellent. The accommodation is to a high standard. Highly recommended.

The furnishings and the lodge were excellent, location was great and we had a very enjoyable stay.. Only disappointment was the state of the barbecue which can only be described as disgusting - whoever used it last left it in a complete mess

An amazing Lodge, would be back tomorrow if I could. The grey squirrels and birds seen out of the side window of the property were amazing, also saw family of deer in the field. A great park with an excellent pool and restaurant.
